[Speaker 1] So what is my liability on a free consultation where I've just given them a telephonic conversation or a WhatsApp conversation? Is that basically, how much is it, how much am I liable for that consultation? [Speaker 2] See, law of consumer court is settled down. Free if at all some hospital or a doctor giving 100% free. If you're charging one patient, you are charging, you're not charging 99 patient. Then also your liability is going to be there. If you're not charging 100 out of 100 patient, your liability can be vitiated. So in such a cases, naturally you are a practicing doctor, you are already practiced and you are charging a people and other things. Here even if you don't charge and give a opinion, definitely that if proven can trouble you and they can pull you in court of law by connecting the things. Because law says either paid or promise to pay or part paid. So promise to pay that I'm going to pay you. They can file a complaint in that particular domain. Ki I have taken opinion, doctor may be saying free, but I was there, I told them I'm going to pay you for that. So that is one part. Coming down to second part of the same question, if at all we use a social media platform, what is my liability in that domain? You rightly said that you immediately instruct the people to go for digital consultation. So because of the digital law of this country or telemedicine law of this country, it become very much possible for every doctor to consult the people on telecommunication or telefeed by using audio, video, WhatsApp, email, whatever way. Only we need to follow that laws. Where these laws are very clear that first time patient you need to have a video consulting. For follow-up patient you can do audio, WhatsApp and all. So that law is different law which need to be followed. So whenever you're giving second opinion, my advice that please tell the patient to come for tele-consultation and then you do whatever you want. You do free or you take a charge, but there you can safeguard it in court of law because of the settled law of the country. [Speaker 1] Okay.
