[Speaker 1] So nowadays what happens is that patient takes multiple opinions. And by the time they come to us, they come with a report which is around two months old, three months old. Maybe it is an MRI. Most probably it is an MRI, which we are also hesitant to get a repeat because the MRI in this country, though it is cheapest in the world, but for the patient it is still a five to 10,000 rupees depending on the center and the city. So, are we liable if we do surgery on a old X-ray or an old MRI? And is there any period defined where we are not liable? [Speaker 2] So, Neeraj, let me tell you. When these instruments were not there or diagnostic was not advanced, in those days 80%, 90% today also is on clinical judgement of a doctor. When they examine patient physically, clinically. And that has also is a part and parcel of our academic year. Today also if patient comes to you, you must have diagnosed immediately with a clinical examination. Just to confirm your diagnosis, many of the time you must have recommended X-ray or MRI or so called various investigation. And then proceeded with a confirmation, yes this is going to be there. On same domain if an old MRI or old x-rays, you feel with your clinical examination, this suffices for your particular procedure. By taking a consent and by explaining a patient, you can go ahead. Basic investigation which need to be immediately done, which can change in period, need to be done. That you do. You can be safeguarded. But yes, it is definitely advisable if it is very old reports and you being a doctor understand that three months time or two months time or one month time or six month time, definitely there's going to be a periodical change in human body and lots of changes can happen. Just to confirm that changes, you need to have a fresh investigation for betterment of the patient's life and procedure which you are going to opt on a patient.
