So, if I don't have an ICU and I have still operated on the patient, what are the care which I have to take and what are the liabilities which I'm getting into?

See basically as I said ki consent you need to take. But my as I advised you ki you must have ICU because every surgery has got one of the complication is a death. And major complication where you need to have ICU to show a due care. Because I still remember a case when judgement has came of Supreme Court where they made it mandatory that ICU must be there to handle every types of post surgery complication and lots of interpretation had done ki next hospital should have ICU if you don't have. But I still remember a case of Mumbai itself where GP has referred, general practitioner has referred a patient for cholecystectomy to a particular hospital, a smaller nursing home where ICU was not there. Anesthetic and surgeon has done that and patient got complication, patient died in that particular domain. And when matter got to the police station and opinion was sought from the public prosecutor, public prosecutor has given opinion very, very dangerously saying that ki doctor was having a knowledge that without ICU, if at all I am operating a patient, there is a possibility of complication and patient can die. In present case patient has died. Hence, all the doctor are responsible. And I still remember that GP who has referred for cholecystectomy because that was mentioned with knowledge of that was with the GP also that why he is sending a patient. Anesthetic and surgeon were booked under those days 304. Now in BNS it is 105. Causing a death without intention with a knowledge that particular thing led to death. Attracts 10 years punishment and a very severe complication. So, to avoid such a scenario situation, yes we have got huge defenses. But to avoid it is a very, very clear advice to all my doctor if any doctor has got OT with them, naturally orthopedic 100% they are having OT. At least one or two bed ICU they must have for taking care of such emergency or post-operative care, what we say we normally send to recovery room. That recovery room can be a part of ICU which can really save my doctor for major hurdles.
